What is Halal Foods Fundamental ?

Define Halal Foods :
- Animals that slaughtered according to Islamic requirement
- Marine animals, crustaceans and molluscs ( permanently living in salt or fresh water )
- There is no requirement to slaughter the marine animals
- Animals who are herbivorous (except pig)
- Birds which are non-carnivorous
- All plants and products are not poisonous or intoxicating
- Free from contamination or harmful pollution
- Items must be maintained separate and apart from Haram items. Halal product shipped from a one plant to a processing plant must be identified, segregated.
- Examine the preparation, manufactured, produced, processed, made, cook, stored, transported, utensils used, prepared with apparatus, equipment or machinery used and cleansed or disinfecting according to Islamic law.
- Generic cycle from farm to table
- Food from Christians and Jews is also allowed if it is according Islamic dietary law.
